Cheynes Hairdressing was established in Edinburgh in 1976 and now operates three city salons. Several current directors have worked with the business since its early years, carrying the founder’s approach into a team with long-standing stylists and clients. Cutting and colour sit beside extensions, smoothing and specialist hair treatments. Bridal parties, proms and race-day clients can also arrange occasion hair and hair-up services. The company’s 49-year history joins technical hairdressing with an inclusive salon culture across its separate Edinburgh locations.
