About
Jakes Barbers was founded in Birmingham in 1991 and specialises in gentlemen’s barbering. Its barbers trained at Vidal Sassoon, studying the shapes and fashion of successive decades before applying those influences to modern cutting. Clipper, scissor and comb techniques have been developed across more than 25 years of practice. The St Paul’s Square shop occupies an Edwardian courtyard and contains 1940s-inspired private cubicles, antique equipment and signed music art. That setting connects traditional barber craft with contemporary styling in a deliberately distinctive interior.
