About
Salt Studio is a Newcastle upon Tyne cosmetic-tattoo practice specialising in lip blush and dark-lip neutralisation. Its artist began a beauty and design career in 2016 and has spent three years developing work for melanin-rich lips. Treatment planning considers facial anatomy, natural lip tone, symmetry and the client’s chosen colour. Fine needles layer dilute pigment through the surface tissue to create either a subtle tint or a more defined lipstick effect. The studio also handles permanent makeup and tattoo removal, with every design mapped individually before pigment is applied.
